With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David F. Carter of Glouster, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Carter and Elizabeth Chaulkey Carter; his wife Norma J. Carter; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Elizabeth Roback; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Bentz, Robert Trace, Gene Hillyer, Dave Moleski and Larry Bycofski.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Carter (Gina), Kevin Carter and Debbie Gullett (Dale); his grandchildren, Dale Jr. (Hannah), Austin, Madison, Elias, Kira, Bailey, Brianna, Gabriella Gullett, Zach, Christian, Michael, Joseph Carter, Chelsea McLaughlin, Brayton Hazen and Haley Williams; his great grandchildren, Jonah, Parker Gullett, Ashlynn McLaughlin and Grayson Williams; his siblings, Mike Carter (Kay) and Mary Hillyer; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Bentz, Mary Jo Bycofski and Pauline Trace; and his pet Bee Gee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
