She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph John and Greta Smith Thum; her husband Ralph Buchman; and her siblings, Mildred Vickroy, Wortha Martin, Virginia Dewhurst, Joseph Thum Jr., Robert "Dutch" Thum, Richard Thum and Vera Thum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Cunningham (Jay Conn) of McConnelsville and Susan Shafer (Richard) of Glouster; and her grandchildren, Beth Tabler (Paul), Chris Shafer (Jessica), Heather Cunningham and Michelle Eidman (Chris). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
