He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelson and Freda Giffin DeGarmore; and his wife Susan A. Williams DeGarmore. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Wemmer of Glouster; his sons, Ryan DeGarmore (Ashley Rice) of Jacksonville and Jacob DeGarmore (Miranda Dykes) of Buchtel; his stepchildren, Michelle Jordan of Glouster and Michael Bobo of The Plains; his grandchildren, Suzanna Rice-DeGarmore, Robert Rice-DeGarmore, Hunter DeGarmore, Walker DeGarmore, Riley DeGarmore and Emma; his stepgrandchildren, Clarissa Kempton, Kyle Riley and Tori Kempton; his siblings, David DeGarmore (Lois) of Virginia, Debra and Karen DeGarmore; and his close friends, Clarence Bowers, Carl McPherson and Jack Gould. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
