She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Gaylord Brooks; her parents, John Stansberry and Flossie Stem Coakley; her children, Wayne, Rejeana, David, Abigail, Daniel, Ezekial and Vern; her great grandchild Branson Moore; and her siblings, Ted, John Stansberry, Dattine and Flossie.
She is survived by: her children, Elijah Brooks (Dianne) of Glouster, Samuel Brooks of Buchtel and Martha Jones (Joe) of Glouster; her grandchildren, Gary of Lisa, D. J., Susan, Sondra, Sabrina, Dylan, Danielle, Josh, Zack, Rejeana, Saprina, Vern, Teah, Zabrina, Rashawnna, Sean, Kris, Samantha, Tabby, Sammy, Beth, Chantel, Nick, Danny, Debbie, Donny and David; and her children-in-law, Bill Carroll, Bub Dempsey, Karen Brooks, Jane Brooks, Tanya Brooks and Sharon Brooks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
