He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel Clarence and Julia Mae Hobbs Cable; and his wife Goldie "Irene" Phillips Cable. He is survived by: his children, Greg Cable (Maxine) of Glouster, Elaine Murphy (Dusty) of Glouster and Curt Cable (Rhonda) of Glouster. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
