Jeffrey C. Carter Obituary
Jeffrey "Jeff" C. Carter, 66, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Monday, January 22, 2024.
Jeff was born May 22, 1957 in Medina, Ohio to Wilson and Vina (Starnes) Carter. He was the youngest of four boys and is survived by his oldest brother, Lanny Carter, who lives in Roanoke, VA.
The Lord was the anchor that held their family secure. Their greatest treasures were Amanda (Adam Karani), Traci (Josiah Hostetler), Abby (John Savon), Katie (Loren Hostetler), Nathaniel, Charity, and Clayton. From these came even more treasures: Alayna, Allie, Tessa, Anthony, and Aaron and in a few weeks another little grandson.
Jeff loved his wife and family dearly. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them. If they had a dream, he would do his best to make it become a reality.
He loved his job of 43 years at Premium Building in West Salem, Ohio. He was so proud of his maintenance job and enjoyed working with his co-workers.
Jeff loved working with wood. Whether it was whittling an object, or building a shelf or table. He was happy when a hammer was in his hands.
He is going to be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28th at Liberty Gospel Church, 8977 County Road 35, Killbuck, Ohio with his wife, Polly Carter officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church. A private graveside service will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio on Monday.
