He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Kaufman and Lucy Kaufman (Frank); his daughters, Lori and Jodi Kaufman; his brothers, Rich (Kathleen), Virgil, Ralph (Carol) and Harold Kaufman; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Morman and Ron Yant.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Fortman; his children, Mark Kaufman (Janice) of Glandorf and Lisa Doepker (Ron) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Seminarian Eric Kaufman, Brooke Leatherman (Tyler), Carrie Krendl (Hank), Josh Doepker (Audrey), Molly, Emily, Claire, Zach, Morgan Doepker, Briley, Easton, Larkin, Reece Leatherman, Carson, Collin and Krendl; his siblings, John Kaufman, Irene Morman, Rosemary Wolke (Tom), Phyllis Frey (Bob) and Joyce Yant; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Kaufman and Lenora Kaufman.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf – towards Masses or the maintenance fund.
