He was predeceased by: his father Lewis "Boz" Laubenthal; his siblings-in-law, Don Dershem, Jack Williams and Sally Laubenthal; and his parents-in-law, Dewey and Rose Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Mattingly (Steve) of Bay Village, Craig Laubenthal (Jenny) of Mt. Pleasant, MI. and Jeff Laubenthal (Amanda) of Warrendale, PA.; his grandchildren, Evan, William, Lucy, Oscar Laubenthal, Sam and Charlie Mattingly; his siblings, Ned Laubenthal (Donna) of Ottawa, Al Laubenthal (Lynn) of Ottawa, Bruce Laubenthal (Stacey) of Ottawa, Becky Dershem of Ottawa and Lisa "Red" Seimet (Rod) of Ottawa; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle Williams of Ottawa and Bob Williams (Doris) of Ottawa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
