She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond J. Schroeder and Helen L. Schroeder (Kern); her daughter Susan Schlumbohm; and her siblings, Evelyn Palte, Tom Schroeder, Rita Maas and Louis Schroeder.
She is survived by: her husband Gregory Hovest; her children, Stephen Hovest (Sandy) of Norwalk, Allen Hovest (Maryellen) of Lexington, KY, Brian Hovest (Rose) of Tallmadge, Eric Hovest (Susan) of Dublin and Sharon Mayhew (Dean) of Glandorf; her son-in-law John Schlumbohm (Debbie) of Pandora; her siblings, Diane Warnecke of Kalida, Doris Eith of Woodbury, NJ, Dale Schroeder (Ruth) of Bowling Green and Gary Schroeder (Jan) of Kalida; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Schroeder of Ottawa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Putnam County Homecare and Hospice.
