She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo H. Maag and Lucy Maag (Meyer); her husband Joseph A. Karl, Jr.; her son Terrance Maas; and her siblings, Sylvester, Virgil, Elmer, Arnold, Wilfred Maag, Alice Wiswasser, Edna and Amelia Maag.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Karl III (Dot) of Glandorf, Jo Ann Emmons (Todd) of Glandorf and Dianna Brinkman (Scott) of Glandorf; her daughter-in-law Susan Maas of Glandorf; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob Karl, Noah Emmons, Allyson, Emma Brinkman, Robert, Jason, Jill, Zach and Dylan Maas; her sister Jeannette Busack (Bob) of Ottawa; and her sister-in-law Sally Maag. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
