He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Verhoff and Philomena Verhoff (Karhoff); his son Aaron Verhoff; his grandson Michael Verhoff; his sister Ruth Jean Canipe; and his brother-in-law Robert Annesser.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Niese; his children, Ken Verhoff (Doris) of Cloverdale, Karen Schroeder (Ken "Smoky") of Leipsic, Jane Warnimont (Carl) of Leipsic, Joann Kuck (Gerald) of New Knoxville and Amy Brinkman (Jerry) of Columbus Grove; his siblings, Orville Verhoff (Audrey) of Ottawa, Victor Verhoff (Pat) of Idaho Falls, ID and Dolores Annesser of Ottawa; and his brother-in-law Bob Canipe of Shelby, NC.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
