Jeanette F. Heckman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette F. Heckman of Glandorf, Ohio, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo J. Maag and Margaret Maag (Feltman); her husband Richard Heckman; her siblings, Cornelius Maag, Leonard Maag (Pat), Alvin Maag (Betty), Alphonse Maag (Mary Margaret), Donnie Maag, Esther Vennekotter (Oscar) and Alvera Laubenthal (Walter); and her in-laws, Ruth Maag, John Thomas, Carol Kaufman (Ralph), Rosalie Borer (Charlie) and Kenny Heckman.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Grogan (Todd) of Brimley, MI., Steve Heckman (Karen) of Bowling Green, Mark Heckman of Glandorf, Sandy Fortman (Joe) of Glandorf and Kevin Heckman (Beverly) of Glandorf; her siblings, Valens Maag of Leipsic and Anna Mae Thomas of New Bavaria; and her in-laws, Tom Heckman (Linda) and Chris Heckman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:45 PM, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Love Funeral Home - Ottawa (405 E 3rd St, Ottawa, OH 45875). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (109 N Main St, Glandorf, OH 45848).
