He is survived by: his wife Patricia Recker; his children, Tim Deters (Jackie) of Ottawa, Debra Shealy (Bill) of Greensboro, NC, Ann Meyer (Tom) of Leipsic, Lisa Todd (Dave) of Findlay and Tom Deters (Allison) of Falls Church, VA; his grandchildren, Matt Deters, Stacy Deters, Alex Najdecki, Kas Shealy, Thomas Shealy, Brent Buckland, Kristen Buckland, Jeff Meyer, Brian Meyer, Craig Meyer, Haley Todd, Leah Todd, Dan Todd, Grahame Deters and Paul Deters; his great grandchild Susanne Meyer; and his siblings, Gene Deters of Kalida, Mary Ellen Schmenk (Don) of Ottawa and Sue Klima (Tom) of Ottoville.
