He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo J. Schroeder and Maglena Schroeder (Buss); and his siblings, Verena Schmitz and John Schroeder. He is survived by: his spouse Marciel L. Recker; his children, Kenneth Schroeder of Glandorf, Karen Geres (James) of Portland, OR., Keith Schroeder (Aubrianna) of Glandorf and Karl Schroeder (Andrea) of Southlake, TX.; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ainsley and Scarlett Schroeder; his siblings, Angela Maag of Ottawa, Elizabeth Schroeder of Orlando, FL., Alex Schroeder (Nancy) of Findlay and Elenor Unterbrink (Kenneth) of Chelsa, MI.; and his children, Steve Schroeder of Ottawa, JoAnna Rieman of Ottawa, Ted Schroeder (Judy) of Columbus Grove, Rita Kuhlman (Stan) of New Cleveland and Frank Schroeder (Dorothy) of Kalida.

Due to regulations regarding COVID 19, masks are required at the church.
