In loving memory of Dorothy M. Osterhage of Glandorf, Ohio, who departed this world on January 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Dorothy M. leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ruhe and Frances Ruhe (Hovest); her husband Paul Osterhage; and her siblings, Edna Warnecke (Walter), Amos Ruhe (Bertha), Mary "Mame" Kreinbrink (Hubert "Red"), Leonard Ruhe (Rose "Dolly") and Betty McCallister (Richard).
She is survived by: her children, Keith Osterhage of Fairfax Station, VA, Julene Shepherd (Joseph) of Lima, Carol Clark of Aliso Viejo, CA, Paulette Osterhage of Chesterfield, MI and Craig Osterhage (Teresa) of Findlay; her grandchildren, Marisa Odenweller (Alex), Joseph Shepherd, Meredith Shepherd, Brittney Bassler (Tyler), Christina Clark (Quinn), Travis Clark, Jacob Osterhage, Alicia Sarmina (Mike), Taylor Doolittle, Spenser Doolittle and Quentin Osterhage; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Savannah Odenweller, Jailee, Macie, Hazel and Hadley Sarmina.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:45 PM, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Love Funeral Home - Ottawa (405 E 3rd St, Ottawa, OH 45875). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (109 N Main St, Glandorf, OH 45848).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Putnam County Council on Aging.
