He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellerbrock and Frances Ellerbrock (Deters); his wife Patricia M. Patterson; his son-in-law Tom Greve; his granddaughter Elizabeth Black; his great grandchild Logan Brickner; and his siblings, Carolus Ellerbrock, Arthur Ellerbrock, Laverne Ellerbrock, Richard Ellerbrock, Mildred Heckman, Bertha Ellerbrock, Myrtle Ellerbrock, Irene Yaufman, Rita Wells and Julie Kidd.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Ellerbrock (Lynn) of Lima, Nancy Greve of Ottawa, John Ellerbrock of Ottawa and Amy Black of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Alana Geddes (Brad), Alexandra Green (Tyler), Ryan Greve (Shawna Williams), Andrea Greve (James Logan), Meagan Brickner (Alan), Crystal Black and Brady Black. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
