Schmitz of Glandorf, Ohio, born in Holgate, Ohio, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Westrick and Emma Westrick (Frey); her husband Charles Schmitz; her great grandchild Charlie Dean Schmitz; and her siblings, Lawrence Westrick, Eugene Westrick, Evelyn Drummer, Paul Westrick, Mary Hyman, Harold Westrick and Arthur Westrick.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Schmitz of Ottawa, Lynne Schmitz of Ottawa, Tim Schmitz of Ottawa, Tom Schmitz of Glandorf and Eric Schmitz of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Brayton Schmitz (Alli), Channing Schmitz and Mya Schmitz; her great grandchild Beau Schmitz; and her sisters, Edith Ott of Defiance, Irene Wenzinger of Miller City, Danilda Lee of Bowling Green and Donna Barlage of Miller City.
