She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Niese and Anna Niese (Siebeneck); her husband Paul J. Schroeder; her siblings, Coletta Bockrath, Mary Verhoff, Leona Alt, Urban, Hugo, Edmund, Wilford, Arnold and Amos Niese; her granddaughter-in-law Dana Vorst; and her great grandchild Eleanor Vorst.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Vorst (Cy) of Glandorf; her grandchildren, Lindsey Metzger (Kyle) of Ottawa and Brent Vorst of Glandorf; her great grandchildren, Calvin Metzger and Hazel Vorst; and her sister-in-law Mary Alice Niese.
