We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2022, at the age of 80, William Carney of Girard, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Carney and Ann E. Carney (Klingerman); his grandson Ethan Moore; and his siblings, James T. Carney and Joanne Carney.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Carney (Colaianni); his children, Colleen Poalson (Mark) of Lorain, Ohio, Christopher Carney (Cindy) of Uniontown, Ohio and Cathy Moore (Dana) of Wadsworth, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Alex Poalson, Marissa Poalson, Mark Poalson, Christopher Carney, Michael Carney, Matthew Carney, Jason Moore and Jennifer Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Rose School or the American Cancer Society in Bill's name.
