He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter McDermott and Agnes McDermott (Bradley); his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Rosalie McDermott; his son-in-law Stephen Roush; and his nephews, Jeremy Rothman and Peter McDermott.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret McDermott (Reesh); his children, Colleen McDermott of Girard and Leonard McDermott (Deanna) of McDonald; his siblings, Kathleen Rothman (Stuart) of Boardman and Robert McDermott (Nancy) of Boardman; his grandchildren, Meghan Blount (Matt), Kerrigan McDermott and Bailey McDermott; and his great grandchildren, Isabella McDermott, Jacob Blount and Emma Blount.
