With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley C. Dilks (Girard, Ohio), who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Shirley departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Haag and Evelyn Knapp Haag. She is survived by: her children, Tina Tvrdik-Etzel (Geoff) of Munroe Falls, Ohio and David Dilks of Cuyahoga Falls; and her brother Tim Haag (Mary Ann) of Parma. She is also survived by three nephews and a niece.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (477 N Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44509). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
