He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Filipan and Virginia Nafe Filipan; his wife Loretta M. Guido; his daughter Rhonda Suzanne Filipan of PhD; and his sister Shirley Kundel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ronald's memory to the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor, 151 W. Wood St. Youngstown, OH 44503.
