Kerrigan and Anne Kerrigan (Haus); his significant other Joanne Kerrigan (Shimko); his children, Amy Cunningham (John) of McDonald and Michael Kerrigan (Dalia) of Fisher, IN; his siblings, Elaine Williams of Grafton, OH and Tom Kerrigan (Mary) of Westerville; his grandchildren, Lauren Thurik (John), Nathan Cunningham and Jenna Kerrigan; his friend Rich Cataffa; his pets, Lucy and Ethel; and his siblings, Dan Kerrigan and Kathy Cannistra.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to them so they can pass it on to Richard's favorite organization, Animal Welfare League.
