He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gries and Stella Ryzner Gries; and his sister Rosemary Labato. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Zelanka Gries; his children, Pamela Lang (Mark) of Cortland, Raymond Jr. Gries (Kecia) of Grove City and Angela Neely (Eric) of Howland; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jonathan Lang, Kamryn Gries, Eric and Evan Neely; and his sisters, Martha Lopez (Ishmael) of Canfield and Barbara Larosa (William) of Austintown.
In lieu of flowers, Ray's family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Rose Church.
