Louise T. Martin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise T. Martin of Girard, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Palmer and Mary Perry Palmer; her former husband Besides; her grandson Andy Hamilton; and her siblings, Priscilla Kordic, Elizabeth Delgenio, Gloria Dutton and Johnny Palmer.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Joseph Martin; her children, Rosemary Hamilton (Rob) of Canfield and John Martin (Kathy) of Howland; her grandchildren, Shannon Leavery (Troy) of Kent, Kayla Nickler (Josh) of Dublin and Ryan Martin (Corinne Jacobs) of Howland; her great grandchildren, Cassidy Smaldino, Sydnie Leavery and Ashlynn Leavery; and her sister Josephine Rossi of Niles.
Family and friends may gather from 9 to 10 a. m. on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Due to the current virus pandemic, everyone is encouraged to practice social distancing guidelines and take health precautions while visiting the family and gathering in the church.
In lieu of flowers, Louise's family suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to The Alzheimer's Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 3711 Starr Centre Dr., Ste. 4, Canfield, OH 44406; or through alz.org.
