He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucy Mae (Bentley) and John Madden (Jack); and his children, Jack, Michele and Mark. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Emmanuel House Care Center or St. Rose School.
