He was predeceased by: his parents, John Altier and Mary Altier (Vitacula); his son Kevin; and his siblings, Rosalyn Altier, Virginia Altier, Kenneth Altier and Samuel Altier.
He is survived by: his wife Martha (Pfiller); his daughter Laura Jo Sobnosky (Damien Sobnosky); and his grandchildren, Kevin Sobnosky and Rachel Sobnosky.
He made many donations to the church, which includes helping to fund and construct a beautiful patio in the front in honor of his son, Kevin.
