He is survived by: his wife Bridget Netzel Schimpf; his children, Gary Schimpf, Jr. (Deidre) of McDonald, Roy Schimpf (Danielle Cross) of Kentucky and Anna Soltesz (Joe Soltesz); his grandchildren, Amber Schimpf (Caden Staup), Joseph Schimpf (Danyelle Pietz), Grady, Sable, Evan, Ethan and Hope; his great grandchild Peyton; his son-in-law Jonathan Taddei of Girard; his daughter Laura Schimpf; his brothers, George Schimpf Jr. and Eugene Schimpf; his niece Tiffany Lynn Schimpf Burkett; his cousin Norma Clauson; his grandson Asher Schimpf; and his sister-in-law Pamela Schimpf. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
