She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Gettig Sr. and Leon E. Galey; and her brother Richard Trittschuh. She is survived by: her parents, Ralph Trittschuh and Helen Trittschuh (Domholf); her children, Neil Gettig (Deb), Sue Gettig, Dave Gettig (Rhonda) and Barb Lucero; her grandchildren, Rebecca Wells (Ken), Rachel Hall (Rob) and Jeremy Gettig (Serene); and her great grandchildren, Kinsey Warren, Logan Wells, Jace Wells, Caitlyn Gettig and Ansley Gettig.
