He was predeceased by: his father Baldwino Johntony; and his brother Dino Johntony. He is survived by: his mother Amelda Jean Gargano; his wife Phyllis Marie Martucci Johntony; his children, Michael of Youngstown, Audrey (Mitch Callahan) of Youngstown, Samuel of Youngstown and Daniel of Austintown; his grandchildren, Raven, Mason, Ava, Hayden, Jemma, Oliver and Logan; his great grandchildren, Trinity, Everly and Remi; and his sister Debrah Hoffman of Stow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends may gather to pay respects from 1 to 3 p. m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Kinnick Funeral Home 222 S. State St., Girard where a memorial service will be held at 3 p. m. Everyone in attendance is encouraged to follow the current pandemic safety measures by wearing a mask or face covering and observing social distancing guidelines.
