It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Barreca of Girard, Ohio, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Angie; and her godmother Shirley Scarnecchia (Tom) of Niles. She is survived by: her boyfriend Anthony Fawcet; her father Leo J. Barreca of Girard; her sister Kathleen Barreca (Anthony Fawcet); her cousin Leo Welch of Akron; her nieces, Gina Gelsomino and Gracie; and her nephew Eric Peter Gelsomino (Melissa). She is also survived by extended family, friends and cousins.
