He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Heltzel and Mary Jane Hazzard Heltzel; and his brothers, Paul, Robert and Mark Heltzel.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Juvancic-Heltzel; his sons, Creston Heltzel (Samantha Ruff) of Parma and Christopher Heltzel (Jessica Monroe) of Cleveland; his stepson Steve Forde (Julie) of Fairfax Station; his granddaughters, Addison, Avery and Antonia Forde; and his siblings, Lawrence Heltzel of Warren, D. Michael Heltzel (Barb) of South Euclid and Mary Jo Heltzel-Richards (Ken) of Geneva. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members; and many friends.
Carl's family suggests memorial contributions be made to either St. Rose School, or to Emmanuel Community Care Center, in Carl's name.
