With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Fisher (Gibsonburg, Ohio), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Fisher to pay them a last tribute.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Elizabeth; and his daughter Tracy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, William Jr. Fisher (Wendy) of Gibsonburg, Robin Coffman (Brian) of Findlay and Ronald Fisher (Bernice) of Helena; and his sister Nancy Skidmore of Oak Harbor. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory (319 W Madison St, Gibsonburg, OH 43431). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame, Gibsonburg Library or Sandusky County Parks, Green Creek Reserve.
