With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne V. Marok (Gibsonburg, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Tucker and Parish; her husband Edward Marok; and her son-in-law Tom Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Michael Marok, Karen Lemke (Jeff) and Jeffrey Marok (Missy Chester); her grandchildren, Brett Marok, Chad Marok, Nicholas Ward (Michelle), Amberlyn, Atley Ward and Morgan Hoffman (Anthony); and her children, Katie Szumigala (Greg), Calvin Szumigala, Emilie Lemke, Jeanette Laskey (Steve), Steve Mitchell (Sarah) and Jacob Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (500 S Brentwood Dr, Gibsonburg, OH 43431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Joanne's name to the Humane Society of Sandusky County, Care360 Hospice or Zion Lutheran Church.
