He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sr. Dietz and Bertha Dietz (Knotts); his children, Paul Dietz and Deborah Streeter; and his siblings, Melvin Dietz, Jack Dietz, Margie Robinette, Bill Dietz, Beverly Fuller and Zelma Trublood.
He is survived by: his wife Fern L. Matter of Gibsonburg; and his children, Rebecca Dietz of Elmore, Eugene Sherman (Marilyn) of Fremont, Richard Sherman (Donna) of Fremont, Lisa Oestreich (Scott) of Van Buren and John Helle (Betty) of Gibsonburg. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gibsonburg Community Church (795 W Madison St, Gibsonburg, OH 43431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in Clarence's name may be made to the Gibsonburg Community Church.
