He was predeceased by: his parents, Orion Osswald and Juanita Osswald. He is survived by: his siblings, Norbert Osswald and Linda Sizemore (Gary); his sister-in-law Marilyn Osswald; his nieces, Jennifer Cavanagh (Pat), Jill Kirkpatrick (Ted) and Melinda Evans (Norm); his great-niece Kinsey Kirkpatrick; and his great-nephews, Colin Cavanagh, Tyler Kirkpatrick, Blake and Adam Evans.

Memorials may be made to Slifers Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Middletown.
