She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard "Gene" Kern and Mary Agnes Kern; and her husband Charles L. Urschel. She is survived by: her daughters, Mandy Ward (Keith) and Molly Henson (Jeff); her grandchildren, David (Natasha), Chaz, Zach and Katie (Dalton); and her great grandchildren, Payton, Brayden, Braxton and Elena.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association, or Farmersville Fire and Rescue.
