Gayla Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Gayla Smith of Germantown, Ohio, born in Gallipolis, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Andrea Scott Forbes. She is survived by: her parents, Gene Scott and Ruth Scott; her husband Ed Smith; her daughters, Rachel Vickers and Sarah Lee (Christopher); her stepchildren, Stacey, Jessica (Corey), Ashley (Brandon), David (Rhea) and Travis (Hayley); her grandchildren, Marley, Max, Lennie, Zach, Bryson, Jackson, Jonah, Brennen, Noelle, Olivia, Brie, Nora, Winston, Kirsten, Kiera, Cooper and Summer; her nephews, Taylor and Brent; and her niece Jenna. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Sadly, those annual adventures were interrupted by the pandemic and it was around then that we became acutely aware of just how difficult things had become more recently for Gayla and also for Ed. And yet we have nothing but the happiest of memories of Gayla.
