He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Barger, and Elmer Barger, Sr.; and his siblings, Kenneth, Denver Barger and Irene Frazier.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. "Kathy" Barger (Baker); his grandchildren, Angie Merriweather (Rob), Toni Hollon, Chelsea Flores-Barger (Denis), Jenna Adams, Jessica Brickel (Chad), Zach Myers and Kayla Blakley (Garrett); and his brother Carlos "Butch" Barger. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
