He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Hoog (O'Neal) and Harry J. Hoog; his son Timothy; and his siblings, Melvin "Bob" Hoog, Marvin "Bud" Hoog, Rita Hoog and Marilyn Schlater.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Hoog (Townsend); his children, Anthony Hoog (Ann Blevins), Doug Hoog (Michele) and Rebecca "Becky" Hoog (Matt Witt); his grandchildren, Katlyn, Mitch, Nathan, Carson, Ben and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Saylor and Campbell; and his sister Charlotte Szabo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
