He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Berger and Evelyn Berger (Sheets); his grandson Dale Thomas Neal; and his brother Douglas Berger. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Berger (Dickey); his children, Randall Berger (Kim), Melissa Heflin and Lorinda Neal (Dale); his grandchildren, Kayla Froelich (Kyle), Zachary Waddell (Britney), Thomas Alan Neal, Kyle Singleton (Brianna Askew) and Shay Berger (Brittany Perry); his great grandchildren, Raegan, Hope, Autumn Froelich, Zavier, Reagan Waddell, Cash Singleton and Rowan Berger; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Berger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
