He is survived by: his wife Connie Zimmerman (Ooten); his son David L. Zimmerman, Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jayden, Chloe, Brox and Zander Zimmerman; his sisters, Susie Sanger (David), Marilyn "Dollie" Zimmerman, Jackie Pressel, Sherry Iker (Darryl) and Karen Zimmerman (Darrel Harrison); and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Zimmerman and Sandy Zimmerman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
