He was predeceased by: his brother Carmen Shields; and his grandsons, David Perkins and David Inman. He is survived by: his children, Curt Shields (Gail), Susie McGill (Rick), Tracy Shields (Rick Schuyler), Tommy Shields, Charles Shields (Marcia) and Jonathan Shields; his grandchildren, Joseph Perkins, Mike, Morgan, Nick McGill, Doug Shields, Debbie Inman, Lilly, Lylah Blackson, Heather, Nikki Schuyler, Emily, Cailyn and Waylon Shields; his brothers, Charles Shields, Warren Shields (Ruthann) and Jeff Shields (Barb); and also Debra Gray. He is also survived by numerous extended family and dear friends.
