She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Johnson and Nannie Johnson (Moore); her husband Basil Laney; and her siblings, Sanford, Hershel, Jerry Johnson and Christine Kern.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Castle (Richard) of Williamsburg, Brenda Laney of Georgetown, Jack Laney (Romah) of Amelia and Scott Laney (Debbie) of Loveland, Ohio; and her siblings, Jack Johnson of Ripley, Carl Johnson of Ohio, Gary Johnson of Kentucky and Marlene Johnson of Tennessee. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
