He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Joan Hawkins (Stansberry); his siblings-in-law, Daryl Stansberry and Jane Stansberry; and his parents, Vernon Hawkins Sr. and Beulah Hawkins (Fox).
He is survived by: his children, Christy Lucas (Lee) and Tracy Hawkins; his grandchildren, Logan (Emily), Layne (Alisa) and Landen; and his sister Sue. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
