He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wiersema and Donna Starr. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stutz Wiersema; his sons, Dawson Lee Wiersema and Zaden James Wiersema; his stepparents, Wardie Starr, Susan and Elden Prosise; his siblings, Robert Wiersema (Candy), Randy Wiersema, Rebecca Smith (Ben), Alan Coughenour (Kellie), Ann Pearson (Todd) and Amy Coughenour; and his father-in-law William E. Stutz.
