He is survived by: his wife Zola; his son Brian Purdin (Lisa); his granddaughter Olivia Zimmer (Andrew); his great grandchild Eleanor Zimmer; and his siblings, Gene Purdin and Ruth Woods. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
