It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Cunningham Thompson (Georgetown, Ohio), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on May 10, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, John Cunningham and Gordon Thompson; her sister Rosemary Kessen; and her father Harry Gerdes. She is survived by: her parent Della Gerdes (Stern); her daughters, Kathleen Hardyman (Mark) of Russellville and Marlene Newman (Martin) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Jason Hardyman (Nichole), Carrie Hardyman (Dave Eversole), Christina Williams (Jesse Jamison), Jennifer Newman (James Sentney) and Latrisha Newman; her great grandchildren, Alex, Kori, Christen, Marcus, Lucas Williams, Connor Hardyman, Carly Hardyman, Mariaha Sentney and James Sentney; and her brother Corwin Gerdes of Lawrenceburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
