She was predeceased by: her father Sam Unger; and her grandmothers, Lillian Baker and Marcella Ruark. She is survived by: her husband Rob Mitchell of Georgetown; her mother Patricia Unger of Blanchester; her children, Tylere Sumpter (Chris) of Georgetown, Levi Unger (Dakota) of Georgetown, Mason Unger (Grace) of Georgetown and Isaiah Sumpter of Georgetown; her stepdaughter Rylee Mitchell of Peebles; her grandchildren, Xavier, Addison and Delilah; and her siblings, Marcy Blythe (Calvin) of West Union, Korrena Gault of Washington Courthouse, Robert Unger of Sabina and Sam Unger (Laura) of Blanchester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
