She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Whitney Noel Bissantz (James); her sister Judith Miller (Stu); her niece Jenny Estle (David); her nephew Mike Miller (Valerie); her husband John Edgar Wood; her children, Johnna Ann and John David; her parents, William Russell and Ruth Russell (Gaul); and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Sara, Taylor and Leslie.
She was also a member of the Friends of the Library, the Brown County Library Foundation, and the Georgetown Arts Council. In addition, she was active with the Brown County General Hospital Auxiliary and with the Hospital's Foundation, and served on the board of the Brown County Heart Association.
